Stephen Michael King's Tea Gardens Public School Visit- 27 May 2015 – Stephen's visit connects into our School 2015-2017 Plan via Strategic Direction 1: Excellence in Student Learning and School Culture. As part of this strategic direction, we are endeavouring to enrich student learning through a differentiated curriculum facilitating students to become successful lifelong learners within a quality learning framework.
Author / illustrator Stephen Michael King coming to visit our school as part of Library and Information Week. Stephen Michael King is well known for his work on many books including but not limited to: Mutt Dog, Leaf, Patricia, Milli, Jack and the Dancing Cat, Henry and Amy and The Man Who Loved Boxes.
Stephen also has a number of books shortlisted in the 2015 Children's Book Council Awards highlighting how fortunate we are to have him coming to us here at Tea Gardens. The presentation will be held in the library. There will be two sessions provided:
1:00 – 1:40 K-3 (Allies, Brigade, Heroes, Mates and Poppies)
1:50 – 2:504-6 (AIF, Cadets and Squadron)
